The choice of the potency of a homeopathic remedy has always been a subject of controversy. As soon as we find the right remedy the next question arises, which potency to use (C, X, LM/Q)? Whether to use Kent's Harmonics of 6C-30C-200C-1M-10M or the French Series of 3C-5C-7C-9C-12C-15C-18C-24C-30C or the Linear pattern of LM potency- the choice becomes very difficult.

What is Fibonacci potency?

The Fibonacci Series is the mathematical relationship of numbers 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377...constructed by adding one number to the previous one, which forms next in the series.

Using the concept with Homeopathic potencies, Dr. Joe made the series of:

If the first potency is 3C, then:

3 = 3C
5C is 3x5 = 15C equivalent
8C is 15x8 = 120C equivalent
13C is 120x13 = 1560C or 1.5M equivalent
21C is 1560x21 = 32760C or 33M equivalent, and so on.

It is to be remembered that those potencies are not a simple succession, but they have a multiplying, exponential effect, allowing one to reach extraordinary high potency levels otherwise unobtainable.

But just Why to resort to Fibonacci potency afterall, Dr. Joe answers it "While looking for a natural law that could direct this choice, I stumbled upon the Fibonacci series that is present everywhere in the universe in the Bud spruce, Sunflower, Nautilus, Galaxies, even it has been used in architecture and in the world of human creations, arts and the human body." So, it came upon him to use this unchangeable Law of Nature in Homeopathy.

Dr. Joe feels that by using these potencies in the correct order with the correct timing, a faster, deeper and more complete resolution of problems and cure of pathologies can be obtained.

Overall, the book is nice to go through especially for those who want to use this new method of Homeopathic practice. The book solves all queries and gives you a general idea of how to practice through using Fibonacci potency.
