Mr DCG aged 78 yrs consulted me on 7.7,10 for his problems after getting no relief from other treatments. He is a retired IAS officer and came to Gurgaon to spend sometime with his son.
He complained of tension in the nape of neck and numbness.
Complaints were aggravated by mental exertion.
He felt better while lying on back.
I could not get any other data and decided to look up the BBCR for some solution. On the basis of these few rubrics Digitalis and Platina was suggested as is evident from the following repertorization chart:

Since Platina covered the aggravation from mental exertion more than Digitals I decided to select Platina and the same was given in 0/1 to be taken 4 times daily.
First follow up after 2 weeks reported 60% improvement and he was very happy on the power of homeopathic medicines and was full of praise of Homeopathy.
Second follow up after 2 weeks indicated further improvement and he said he has 80 % relief.
He returned for the third follow up after 2 weeks and reported complete relief. As he was going back he requested me for 2 weeks medicine and to write down the name of the remedy in case he needed it in future. I gladly wrote down the prescription and he left my clinic expressing profuse thanks.
