The 3-legged stool on which homeopathy stands comprises of homeopathy philosophy, repertory and Materia medica. In short they provide principles, practice and resources of homeopathy system of medicine. If any one of them is absent there will be no stability in either the knowledge or the practice of homeopathy. Moreover, one cannot exist without the help of other two; together they provide completeness to the system.

As we know homeopathy philosophy deals with the rule book or principles of the science while repertory deals with practice part of homeopathy. On the other hand homeopathy Materia medica is the vast ocean of resources providing thousands of medicines for the ailing humanity.
