Introduction

Homeopathic dilution and potency: According to Professor George Vithoulkas at first, Hahnemann tried to simply dilute the substances. This, of course, succeeded in reducing toxicity of the agents, but it also proportionately reduced the therapeutic effect. Somehow, Hahnemann then hit upon the technique of adding kinetic energy to the dilutions through shaking, or 'succussion'. This combination of succussion and serial dilution Hahnemann called 'potentization' or 'dynamization.' The crucial observation was that the more the substance is succussed and diluted in series, the greater the therapeutic effect while simultaneously nullifying the toxic effect .

The assertion that by mere succussion and serial dilutions the therapeutic power of a substance can be increased without limit while nullifying toxicity certainly seems to violate our usual understanding of physics and chemistry.

THE BIG QUESTION : The clinical results of homeopaths the world over, routinely using the potencies with pronounced benefit beyond Avogadro's number, cannot be denied, but then what is actually occurring during the process of potentization?

Homeopaths do understand that dilution alone is not sufficient to produce the phenomenon. Succussion adds kinetic energy to the solution, which is crucial. If one merely succussed a solution without diluting it further, a raise in level of only one potency occurs, regardless; of how many times it is succussed; therefore both succussion and dilution are required. It is also understood well by homeopaths that the more succussion and dilution, the more therapeutic power is increased. Even beyond the point of there being even no molecule of the original substance remaining.

It is understood that so far there is no explanation in modern physics or chemistry for this phenomenon. But it is quite apparent that some kind of new form of energy is released by this technique of Hahnemann which has stood the proof of more than two centuries. The energy which is contained in a limited form in the original substance is somehow released and transmitted to the molecules of the solvent. Once the original substance is no longer present, the remaining energy in the solvent can be continually enhanced ad infinitum. The solvent molecules have taken on the dynamic energy of the original substance. The homeopaths all over the world in the Hahnemannian and post-Hahnemannian period have known from the clinical results that the therapeutic energy sill retains the 'vibrational frequency' of the original substance, but the energy has been enhanced to such a degree that it is capable of stimulating the dynamic plane of the patient sufficiently to produce a cure.

Although the aforesaid explanation by Professor George Vithoulkas is only hypothetical and it is a matter of scientific research. It is quite likely that in the future some scientist may give the exact explanation how the energy is transferred to the solvent. However, the validity of a highly dynamized homeopathic remedy has become undeniable.

Imponderables or infinitesimals

Vitamin is a term used to indicate something unknown, invisible and elusive; something that can be recognized only by its effects according to whether it exists or does not exist in foods. Hence it is asserted that nourishing foods contain vitamins and non-nourishing foods lack vitamins.

Vitamins are so incomprehensible, and their chemical formulae is so hopeless that they are alphabetically distinguished; thus we have Vitamin A. B. C. D. E. etc., to start with, waiting for others to be announced. As Cartier remarks - "Without these imponderable vitamins life would be impossible". Such is, as a whole, the importance of the discovery of vitamins. It reminds of Hahnemann's 'spirit-like force" which he applied to the action of remedies.

Vitamins are of special interest to the homoeopathic physician . First, they offer positive evidence of the curativepower of imponderables and infinitesimals, and second, they are analogous practically to the Tissue Remedy Therapy of Schuessler introduced by Hering and practiced by our physicians all over the world.

It was pointed out by Schuessler and verified first by Hering and then by the physicians of our school, that the deficiency condition due to a lack of a mineral salt would not necessarily be remedied by giving foods rich in the deficient salt, and that the deficiency disease would continue quite frequently no matter how much was taken into the system in foods. In many cases, perhaps all, the lack of the mineral salt was due to the system's inability to appropriate the same from the foods, which condition could be removed only by giving the deficient mineral salt in an extremely attenuated preparation, usually not lower than the 6x attenuation. This is well known and has been practiced and verified by the Homoeopathic school for more than a century. This is the case in all deficiency diseases; there is lack in the system of a power to enable what are now known as vitamins to function in a physiological way. Giving these vitamins in foods rich in the same is the prevailing custom at present. It will be found that this is crude and uncertain way, for the condition may not be altogether due to a lack of them in the food, but also, and perhaps preponderantly, to the lack of power of the system to appropriate them.

Therefore we must find remedies to restore this vitamin function of the system that is lacking or deranged, and this can be done in the homoeopathic way by attenuating remedies (vitamins) so that the system will absorb them and restore the lost function.

Hormone therapy
Other affections are due to glandular deficiencies and Hormone therapy is also analogous to Homoeopathy and especially so in reference to infinitesimal dosage.

Hormones are defined as internal secretions from what have been termed the ductless glands giving us Adrenaline; Thyroidin, Insulin, etc. They are procurable in various potencies.

That they act infinitesimally, we quote from an article by Hoskins of Harvard University:

"Epinephrine can readily be detected by biological assay in dilution of 1:300,000,000. To state this fact in terms that can readily be visualized, to reduce an ounce of Epinephrine crystals to the dilution mentioned, the contents of forty miles of water carts, each holding 625 gallons, and deployed 200 carts to the mile would be required." A substance from the pituitary gland is 'so potent that 5000 miles of such carts would be required to reduce an ounce to the undetectable point".

Shades of Korsakoff, Jennichen, Skinner and Swan defend us! Insulin, etc. They are procurable in various potencies.

Homeopathy, rising profile

The rising profile of homoeopathy has produced something of a dilemma in the world of medicine: does it work or doesn't it? The decision bites deep: if homoeopathic medicine is nothing but fraud, quackery, and placebo, as many of its opponents would maintain, then a large number of competently trained homoeopaths and doctors, together with countless thousands of dedicated lay practitioners have been led up the medical garden path. Their millions of patients, including many heads of state and prominent members of several of Europe's royal families, have fallen victim to the most successful medical hoax ever perpetrated. On the other hand, if homoeopathic medicine is effective, then for the first time in more than a hundred years the Western world is on the verge of developing an entirely new system of medicine. The medicines are non-toxic and easily manufactured; they are also very cheap.

The Physics of Homeopathy

If homeopathic remedies are effective; there is a mechanism by which they work. It is a fact that the mechanism of action by which they might work has not been established. If the remedies do work, they must do so in a manner which would appear to violate established principles of physics, chemistry and pharmacology or they must work in a manner which is yet to be discovered.

Homeopathic dilutions and potencies and Avogadro's number

By successively diluting the initial substance, extremely dilute solutions can be made rather quickly. The dilution limit is reached when the volume of the solute is unlikely to contain a single molecule of the solvent. The limit recognizes that there is a large but finite and specific number of atoms or molecules in a mole of substance (a mole is the molecular weight of a substance, expressed in grams). That number of atoms or molecules is 6.022 X 10 23, also known as Avogadro's number.

Although the basic idea of homeopathy is similarity, its most controversial claim concerns the properties of ultra-molecular dilutions. Avogadro's Constant, the number of particles (atoms or molecules) in a gram mole of a substance, is of the order of 10 23. In homeopathic terminology, 10 23 corresponds to a 23X or 12C dilution. Homeopathic preparations in dilution less than those contain material traces of the original substance; those in high (ultra-molecular) dilution are unlikely to do so.

Arndt-Schulzlaw

The pharmacologic principle of homeopathy, discovered by 19th century scientists, Hugo Schulz and Rudolf Arndt. It says that weak stimuli accelerate physiologic activity, medium stimuli inhibit physiologic activity, and strong stimuli halt physiologic activity.

Arndt-Schulz rule or Schulz' law is a claimed law concerning the effects of pharmaca or poisons in various concentrations. It states that: For every substance, small doses stimulate, moderate doses inhibit, and large doses kill.

The memory of water theory

The most widespread hypothesis to explain the mechanism of action of homeopathic dilutions refers to "memory of water" effects: "Under appropriate circumstances, water retains information about substances with which it has previously been in contact and may then transmit that information to pre-sensitized bio-systems". Standard physico-chemical techniques, thermo-luminescence, Raman and UV - VIS spectroscopy and other methods have shown that water displays large changes in its physico-chemical properties as a function of its history. It remains to be proven whether such changes have the features to account for effects of homeopathic medicines in-vivo.

High-potency effects in biological experiments

A recent meta-analysis evaluated 67 in-vitro biological experiments in 75 research publications and found that high-potency effects were reported in nearly 75% of all replicated studies; however, no positive result was stable enough to be reproduced by all investigators. One example of a series of in-vitro experiments in homeopathy is the model of the allergic response to antibody using the human basophil de-granulation test. The earliest study reported inhibition of de-granulation with ultra-molecular dilutions of anti-IgE. These initial experiments did not prove to be reproducible. Subsequent studies using a modified method, and using ultra-molecular dilutions of histamine , have shown positive results however. These findings have been reproduced in several independent laboratories, as well as in a multi-centre series of experiments.

Biphasic response of drugs

There is a recognized principle in pharmacology in which a drug simply having increased effects as its dosebecomeslarger; research has consistently shown that exceedingly small doses of a substance will have the opposite effects of large doses. These two phases of a drug's action is called "Biphasic response of drugs (1). This pharmacological principle was concurrently discovered in 1870, by two separate researchers, Hugo Schultz, a conventional scientist and Rudolf Arndt, a psychiatrist and homoeopath

Is similia principle related to the Arndt Schultz law and hormesis?
Since two centuries, Homeopathy is characterized by the similia law: a patient needs to be cured by the remedy which produces in a healthy subject the same morbid phenomena as those observed in this patient. The idea of canceling the symptoms by using "homeopathic" remedy aroused several hypotheses such as the Arndt-Schultz law. The idea of the curing by a stimulating process induced by a pathogenic substance seemed to be possible and sometimes the similarity was reduced to an identity. We will try to analyze some of this hypothesis.

(Hormesis means (biology) an effect where a toxic substance acts like a stimulant in small doses, but it is an inhibitor in large doses).

Arndt stated firstly that "weak stimuli slightly accelerate the vital activity, middle -strong stimuli raise it, strong ones suppress it and very strong ones halt it"". Schultz published various examples of yeast growth stimulation by using sub toxic concentrations of various poisons such as iodine, bromine, arsenious acid etc.; the Arndt-Schultz law was expressed as follows: "Every stimulus on a living cell elicits an activity which is inversely proportional to the intensity of the stimulus" [Halm, 1993; Oberbaum and Cambar, 1994]. Southam and Erlich (1948) who reported the stimulatory effect of an antifungal when used at low doses proposed the term of "hormesis" defined as "the stimulatory effect of sub inhibitory concentrations of any toxic substance on any organism". Stebbing (1981) developed the concept with many other scientists. Hormesis is considered as a non-specific phenomenon increasing the resistance and growth of the treated organism. It exists for all the living organisms. This "action-reaction" model shows the efficacy of the "vital activity" in fighting the poison in a non-specific way even though specific defense molecules are also synthesized. It has been shown in a very modern and important pathological model that a single dose of an anti-tumor immunosuppressive substance (cisplatin) was able to induce increased lymphokine-activated killer activity. It was demonstrated by Wagner et al. in 1988 that low doses of cyto-static agents stimulate human granulocytes and lymphocytes growth.

Starting from the idea of this "vital activity" and to demonstrate the poisoning resistance of living organisms, it was proposed to use sub-lethal doses pretreatment of a poison followed by lethal doses of the same poison (as it was used by Mithridate or by Raspoutine to prevent poisoning lethal aggression). This may be considered as a derived model of hormesis. It was proposed by Weis in 1986 who demonstrated a lower sensitivity to cadmium in fishes when cadmium was administered previously at a sub-toxic concentration. This protection by low dose pretreatment has been demonstrated in many models. Furthermore, it was demonstrated Metalnikoff in 1920 that the immunity of insects is due to pretreatment by environmental presence of the same bacteria that induce anti-bacterial peptides. These models need an identity between the pre-treating poison and the lethal poison given after. Furthermore, a protective effect of homeopathic dilutions of a mineral poison in the same poison injury was also demonstrated according to the identity law.

Taken together, these observations have been often evoked to explain theoretically and experimentally the similia principle. These observations presuppose that the organism is able to release some "resisting organization" which stimulates various metabolisms; as such, we are in the general concept of "action-reaction" either as a function of time (self-recovery or identity law) or as a function of concentration (Arndt-Schultz law-hormesis). In this concept, the most sophisticated model using high dilutions is related to the law of identity. The identity law governs the nature of poisoning/stimulating substance.

Fairly different is the similia law in homeopathy: there is no more a matter of identical objects . Whatever, for the moment, would be the remedy as a pharmacological substance in itself, the interest here is focused on the relationship between two symptomatic typical wholes: on one hand pathogenetic symptoms, on the other hand the symptomatic statement of the disease. Disease, in this perspective, can be taken as a global adaptation to pathological circumstances; this new condition of the organism looms in some crucial signs called symptoms; hence the physician is able to identify a typical statement of disease by confronting it with the pathogenetic referent. It is not an identityof objects but a similitude between two structures of symptomatic expression.

So the homeopathic dynamism of the remedy can be interpreted as an informative action between two similar structures, according to the logics of analogical communication. The remedy carries a piece of information which has an acute affinity with the ailed organism; this organism itself is a capable receiver because it bears the very referent of it. So the remedy informs the organism about its own organization and arouses an answer.

Whatever the interest of the Arndt-Schultz law and hormesis to demonstrate the adaptative capacity of a living organism or to develop the identity principle, they are not helpful for the interpretation of the similia principle which is the foundation of Homeopathy.

Dr. Boyd, by a series of most scrupulously planned experiments was able to demonstrate that the rate of activity of diastase is changed by the addition to the ferment of micro doses of mercuric chloride in various high potencies from 61x to 71x(2). Following these experiments, a number of experimental studies in numerous area of scientific investigation have verified this law (4). Conventional scientists who are typically unfamiliar with homoeopathic medicines have performed these studies. They have not tested or even considered testing the ultra high dilutions commonly used in homoeopathy. However, their research has consistently shown very significant effects from such small micro doses that even the researchers express confusion and surprise.

Dr. Boyd says further that those who feel that in their experiments with the homoeopathic law of drug action they wish to deal with definitely material quantities, speaking from molecular standpoint; we would recommend their using preparation of 6X or 7X type. Once convinced of the homoeopathic action, then they can venture into a realm or experiment with potencies belonging to what has already been termed the high potency range. In this latter range it must be clear that, in 20C and other greater "attenuations" there is no suggestion that there are any of the original atomic or molecular constituents in the final product. In these higher potencies we are dealing with a physical property the actual nature of which is at present unknown, but which is being steadily investigated by modern research methods. The evidence is beginning to suggest that we are dealing with a form of radiation. This paper however does not deal with the high potency problem, but is intended to emphasize that adequately in formed experiment may be carried out with substances still definitely of molecular order to obtain clinical evidence required for demonstration of the principle of homoeopathic action.

Action of micro small or imponderable and infinitesimal homeopathic remedies: The extensive experiments of Dr August Bier of Berlin University proved the three cardinal requisites of a homeopathically prescribed remedy.

  • Single remedy. 2. The similar remedy (Similia similibus curentor). And 3. The minimum dose (the smallest amount to produce curative action).

Bier explains further (I) That all of the cells of body are not sick (II). The finely sub-divided remedy goes past the healthycells because they have no attraction for it; and (III). The sick cells have less resistance and are more responsive to stimuli. The minimum and minute (subtle or imponderable) dose affects these hypersensitive sick cells and stimulates them to reaction. The similar remedy induces normal reaction. If the remedy is not similar its action is not curative.

Karin Lenger, Ph.D. Homeopathy - an Energetic Medicine: homeopathic potencies identified by a new magnetic resonance.

SEPARATION OF HOMEOPATHIC PHOTONS FROM THEIR CARRIER MOLECULE

For the first time, it was possible to measure the degree of the potency determined by the increasing input voltage (Table I) which separates the homeopathic energy, from the sugar molecule by forming a standing longitudinal wave in the Faraday cage. The loop antenna measured the wave in the cage The spectrum of the cleared globuli without a photon was identical with that of the placebo This is a convincing proof for the fact that the globuli were free from any homeopathic potency. It is important to state that the energy level of the spectrum analyzer did not go back to zero value because of the standing wave in the Faraday cage which corrupted the measurements of the loop antenna. The door of the cage was left open for about 20 minutes during which the wave dissipated from the cage. Then the analyzer showed white noise again.

ACCURACY OF THE MEASUREMENT

It was calculated that the accuracy of the measurement is expressed as the maximal mean deviation of ± 3%. This means that all values are exactly reproducible.

Abstract
The topic of this article is the detection of magnetic photons in homeopathic potencies. Their electromagnetic properties are proved by a newly developed magnetic resonance method using two different Tesla coils which generate longitudinal waves at distinct resonance frequencies in the HF range at low micro Voltages. When laid into the maximum of the magnetic field, homeopathic high potencies with frequencies being in resonance with those of the coils attenuated the magnetic field. Therefore, it can be concluded that homeopathic potencies consist of magnetic photons. For the first time, the degree of each potency could be measured and characterized by its specific µV input level which separated the photons from their carrier molecule of sugar at their resonance frequency. Homeopathic potencies are magnetic photons with several frequencies in the HF range and with different energies. Until recently, only photons with monochromatic light have been known. For the first time, the resonance method developed in this paper was extended for determining the frequency spectra of homeopathic potencies by exciting them by means of a different peak frequency of their individual spectrum within the HF range. From this it follows that each homeopathic potency must have its specific frequency spectrum and its specific energy, which is the "homeopathic information." According to these results, homeopathy has been put on a fundamental, scientific, physical basis.

The functioning of homeopathy can now be explained. Healing by homeopathy obeys the principle of similarity according to Hahnemann:' the patient has to be treated with that substance which induces the same symptoms that are characteristic for his disease. If a healthy person is treated with the same substance he or she will develop the same symptoms. It is said,"information" is then transferred to the patient, because there is not any molecule left in high potencies. Based on the results of this paper, it can be stated that healing by homeopathy means exciting or attenuating the level of the energy terms of the pathological pathways by the magnetic photons according to the resonance principle. Therefore, the homeopathic principle of similarity can be reduced to similar resonance frequencies of the remedy and the pathological pathway. Homeopathy is an energetic medicine.

Keywords : Homeopathy, homeopathic frequency spectra, homeopathic potencies, excited states, energy terms, magnetic resonance, longitudinal waves, magnetic photons, Tesla coils. The mystery of homeopathy and its mode of action have not been solved yet. Healing effects are achieved by using substances highly diluted beyond the Loschmidt constant. Between the dilution steps they must be shaken 10 times very strongly up and down.

The founder of homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann (1755- 1843), described the preparation of homeopathic remedies. He claimed that healing obeys the principle of similarity: the symptoms of the patient are similar to those of the volunteer who was poisoned by e.g. venom. The highly diluted and vigorously shaken venom seems to cure the patient by transferring some kind of "information" or an "oscillatory wave." There was no further explanation existing so far.

Proof for Homeopathy

The primary question regarding homeopathy is this: Can serially agitated high dilutes (SADs),  the constituent solutions used in homeopathic remedies, be identified from their liquid vehicles?

Although it does not conclusively rebut the placebo accusation, if we can observe a difference in SADs with the water from whence they came, this in itself suggests that there is a physical attributes in homeopathic medicine that are likely to be affecting living organisms.

A review of the literature spanning a century reveals reports of numerous ways to address the question, and the conclusion is that there are indeed numerous methods by which to make the proposed identification. The effects of high dilutes have been seen on bacterial, zoological and botanical subjects. Physical measures have been made. Biochemistry has been employed. The reports have been positive enough to suggest that although the molecular structure of SADs is not well understood, they do differ from their liquid solvent vehicles, have a dynamic action and subsequently suggest specificity in the sub atomic field.

1902 P.Jousset investigated the effects of silver nitrate up to 25c on mycelium. He found significant results in their weights, finding that the silver nitrate stunted growth. 1906 Boericke and Tafel made an unusual observation of the emanations from a high dilute of  radium bromide (30c), to photograph a picture of the outline of a key. (Tafel's Jottings, 1906.)

1923 N.P. Krawkow-  Demonstrated 15c histamine increased the blood flow in isolated rabbit ears 25% and using 12c microdoses of adrenaline, strychnine, histamine and quinine was able to affect the change of pigmentation in the isolated skins of frogs. Controls were used. "Beyond the Boundary of Sensibility of Living Protoplasm" Zeitschrift fur die Gesamte Experimntalle Medizin, 34 pp.279-306 6.       1925 G. Stearns & M. Stark reported the action of micro-dilutes on fruit fly tumors. In this fascinating study we see that micro-dilutes actually altered the genetics of their subjects.

A genetically determined tendency to tumor formation ceased to exist after the administration of a micro-dilution of the tumor itself (isopathy). Controls were used. Other micro-dilutes were used to no effect. "Experiments with Homeopathic Potentized Substances Given to Dropsophilia Melanogaster with Hereditary Tumors", The Homeopathic Recorder, 40. 7.       1925 G. Stearns tested micro-dilutions of salt on guinea pigs and demonstrated adverse affects from 30c to 1000c sodium chloride. He noted loss of appetite, aversion for bread, loss of weight, their young poorly nourished and scrawny, less active, indifferent, hair less glossy, rough, untidy, eyes watery, lack luster. And homeopaths brag that their "remedies" (which are actually legal drugs) can do no harm!  There were 16 female control animals, and they all became pregnant, whereas only 31% of the 48 female experimental animals became pregnant. At the end of five months over half, 55% of the experimental animals were dead compared to only 35% of the control animals "Experimental Data on One of the Fundamental Claims in Homeopathy", The Journal of the American Institute of Homeopathy, 18. 8.

1927 Karl Konig used micro-dilutes to experiment on frogs and
fungi. He discovered that by using dilutions of lead and silvernitrate ranging from 1 to 15c he could cause a premature metamorphosis in Rana fusca (common frog tadpoles) or kill them or the fungus in the water. Once again here we see that homeopathic drugs can have negative organic affects. Controls were used and the sinusoidal curve that we see in many experiments of diverse measures is first noted here. 1929 Vladimir Vondracek repeated Konig's work, and instead of lead and silver nitrate used gold chloride and a different species of frog. At 12c he also reported a significant increase in
the mortality of tadpoles, and also obtained a repetition of the sinusoidal curve. "The Mortality of Tadpoles in Ultra Solutions" Zeitschrift fur die Gesamte Experimentelle Medizin. 66 pp. 533-538 10.

DR.DEVENDRA KUMAR.M, Research asst, Central Council for Research in Homeopathy, India,

my recent experiments with sulphur 200

Please observe that placebo given subjects produced peaks are not at same frequency level as Sulphur produced.

My recent experiments with Homeopathic medicine Sulphur 200c

The experiment was conducted with 6 subjects,

Left side graphs are of sulphur 200c given subjects,
Right are of placebo given subjects.
In brief : per day two subjects were selected. 9 pills of sulphur 200c was given to one subject and 9 pills of placebo given to another subject. Same procedure was followed for all the four days but with different subjects.
Readings were taken from 8am to 8.10am, except on the day 2nd it was taken from 08.00.16 am to 08.10 am. It can observe the shift in peak in medium (yellow) frequency in the picture (2nd day 1st graph).

Dr Malcolm Macfarlan's Experiment : Homeopathy is not a matter of faith but matter of putting it to test and see to believe that homeopathic remedies are curative in cases where other remedies fail. It is not possible to believe in them otherwise. Macfarlan studied the effects of a homeopathic remedy prescribed in different potencies to different people and recorded the effects. For example:

Arsenic album: Potency 103M - Sick at stomach; did not vomit; great weakness, dizzy headache on top of head, no appetite, no particular thirst, slight fever and sweat every afternoon, some difficulty in breathing, like asthma. She was compelled to lie down, she was so weak; her left discharge slight moisture; face swollen up, sighing for breath, panting on exertion; bowels have been regular; watery discharges from nose, fainted several times during the week.

Arsenic 6M: Appears to be more useful in ophthalmia when photophobia present. It has often been verified. Fainted several times while walking out. She had never fainted before. Had been taking the medicine before this occurred. Cnnot sleep after 3AM. She gets up in fright from vivid dreams. Very low spirited. Night sweats, chilly and feverish, mostly towards sundown. Throat quite sore and painful, backaches, buttock sore to touch, appears as if a lump came like a hurt in her throat. Sensation as if she was swollen through her whole body, pain extending from her head to her right shoulder and down her right side. Could not sleep because of anxiety. Fear that some evil will overtake her.

Arsenic 6M: Prover wakes in a horrid fright at 3AM. Cannot be convinced but that something dreadful will happen to him. Fainting in a woman when walking out verified often, never happen before taking the medicine. Cure a case of ascites following chronic diarrhea. Made comfortable in many suffering from Bright's disease - with general dropsy.

Eyes misty at times, faint feeling, could not see well at times, not inflamed, did not water, feels as if she had load in upper part of both lungs, feels as if she would smother.

Arsenic 72M: Watery discharge from the nose.

Zingiber C.M.: Loose bowels and gripping stools, movements which were previously dark and hard, are now light color. Nausea. Constant eructations of wind - not particles of food.

The above are few examples and there are many remedies proved by Macfarlan in different high potencies. All the remedies worked in high and highest potencies. It means that a homeopathic remedy is not a placebo effect but have the power to affect both in disease and sickness. Dr. Hahnemann did not differentiate between a stress and the homeopathic remedy in high and highest potency; both are imponderable and subtle and affect sick and healthy folks. He alludes the law of Similars, and the minimum dose for restoring health without shock to the vital force. He concluded that vital force is a delicate thing - it can be upset by a draft of air, eating a particular food, a change of weather etc. That is why he deemed it fit to reduce the medical agent to a state of energy or dynamism or electromagnetic vibrator in order to cure the sick most rapidly, permanently and gently. Probably it is nano-pharmacology!

Natrum Muriaticum: (Allen's Encyclopedia) the intensely salty taste that he had had from the higher dilutions. The salty taste on the lips, which had appeared after the 15th dilution, disappeared entirely after 3d and 4th triturations.

Apis Mellifica: (Hahnemannian Monthly)

Hughes says (Pharmacodynamics, p. 219, 5th edition, 1886): "The 3x is that which I always employ in acute edema in all forms. In dropsy, Dr. Morey prefers the lower dilutions from 3x upwards; in irritation of the bladder, he says we ought never to go below the 6x. The most striking cures of ophthalmia have been with the higher dilutions. Dr. Wolf uses the 3x to 30x according to sensitiveness of the patient, and in most acute affections advises its alternation with aconite to avoid excessive reaction."

Underwood (Materia Medica of Differential Potency, page 34) claims: "For the use of Apis in the lower dilutions, the indications are few, most of the cases of cures reported having been made with the higher attenuations.

"In the lower potencies, it would appear to be adapted to dropsy, albuminuria, or diseases of the kidneys with scanty urine, amenorrhea, dysmenorrheal, cutaneous affections, erysipelas and scarlatina.

"In the higher attenuations, it is curative in dropsies and kidney diseases, with excessive secretion of urine; in chronic hydrocephalus, acute hydrocephalus, cerebro-spinal meningitis, diarrhea and typhoid fever." In diarrhea of teething children, with the characteristic starting in sleep, thirst and restlessness, Apis 3x has usually acted promptly in my own practice, as it has also, when employed in acute meningitis.

Special indications - If it should prove, on wider experiments, to hold true, as above intimated by Underwood, that scanty urinecalls for low dilutions, while abundant urine indicates the higher, this will prove a most valuable guide, since it is an exceedingly simple and obvious symptom.

Aggravates much more in high dilutions than in lower ones; especially where extensive collections of disease-tissue exist, a single globule of 200th will often set up violent disturbance.

Phosphorus : Case (J C Burnett: 50 reasons for being a homeopath) the lady was 5 I years old, and so you may call it metrorrhagia if you so prefer, but there had been no break in the men. Which were still regular? She came to me in October, 1882, and told me of her trouble, and that it dated from a miscarriage fifteen years before. She had often flooded at her confinements. Phosphorus 200 cured her. She went much smaller in the waist, and told me she "felt like a young girl -. She had other intercurrent remedies - Lachesis, Ferrum, Thuja and Arnica, but it was the Phosphorus that cured the hemorrhage, I having to return to it three separate times, with months between, and the last time I used Phosphorus in 100th potency.

Now I cite this case because it is purely and exquisitely homoeopathic, and yet the bulk of the homoeopathic practitioners in the world do not believe in what are called high dilutions, and for all that this case was cured by such dilutions. It follows that either they or I must be mistaken; the lady who was thus cured would laugh in your face if you were to ask her to believe that she received from me other than very powerful remedies. And, indeed, they were very powerful. And just think of the gallons of Steel Drops and tonics that she had had in vain during those fifteen years of bleeding!

Chininum purum: (Hale M - Therapeutics of the New Remedies)

During the paroxysm, Quinine should be given in a high triturations or dilutions, from the 6th to the 30th, according to the intensity of the fever, congestion, and nervous phenomena. I know from actual experience that the use of Quinine during the paroxysm, in this manner, greatly mitigates the symptoms at the time, and I am certain that it requires less of the medicine to be given through the apyrexia.

Arsenic album: For curative purposes, according to the homoeopathic method, doses of very high dilution have been found, by innumerable experiments, to be amply sufficient. The dose of the smallest part of a drop containing the decillionth of a grain of white arsenic usually suffices for the cure.

Conclusion:

The small homeopathic dose cures an extremely intractable disease very promptly, and better than any other means. The so called natural philosophic group in homeopathy, and among them especially the high-potency advocates, have attempted to save Hahnemann's doctrine regarding the intensification of drug power by extreme dilution, by means of the following considerations, in accord with the latest scientific researches. A drug does not act by virtue of its crude qualities, but like ferment or a colloid. The efficacy of the later does not depend on quantity, but on the division of the material. THE HIGHER THE DEGREE OF DISPERSION (SURFACE-TENSION), THE GREATER THE EFFECT. IT IS JUST THIS FINE DIVISION AND SURFACE ACCUMULATION WHICH HAHNEMANN IS SAID TO HAVE ACCOMPLISHED WITH GENIAL FORESIGHT BY HIS TRITURATIONS AND SUCCUSSIONS, THUS ANTICIPATING SCIENCE BY MORE THAN TWO CENTURIES.

SAVE THE HOMEOPATHY!

Many remedies in high potencies, e.g. Nosodes such as cholera LMK or yellow fever LMK, which are important for healing, are no longer available. The results of this paper may prove that it is not justified that the production of homeopathic remedies is more and more restricted. Recently, a law was enacted by the European Union according to which the original substances of high potencies of Nosodes and snake venoms must be destroyed because of their toxic effects, although everybody knows that in high homeopathic potencies no molecule does exist. These new procedures applied will destroy the original substances. This will lead to homeopathic potencies in which the photons created by shaking do not correspond with the original substances. This is a consequence of misunderstanding of the way homeopathy works. There is not even one single molecule of the original extract in these remedies, but only magnetic photons.

"It is a sound suggestion that no one should judge homeopathy, who has not tried homeopathic remedies, and who has failed by reading to familiarize himself with the theory of homeopathy"- August Bier.
