Looking at the present status of Homeopathy both in India and abroad, one feels proud. There was a time when there were handful homeopathic physicians and that too who studied Homeopathy as a 'hobby-course'. Now when there are recognized institutes educating people in homeopathic science through series of theory and clinical classes the situation becomes different.

Today, Life in Homoeopathic circles everywhere is throbbing with energy, exuberance and creativity. Be it homeopathy schools, hospitals, research centers, online courses, study groups, seminars, group discussions, journals, or books everywhere we find new chapters, written, edited, added or improvised. These help in enhancing the knowledge and experience of fellow homeopaths which in turn helps in progress of science.

Equally encouraging face is the increasing acceptance of Homoeopathy not only by the lay consumers but also by an increasing number of physicians of the conventional system of medicine. Quite frequently we find a number of them, frankly advising Homeopathy treatment in "incurable cases or un-responding cases”. Many of them even use remedies like Arnica, Hypericum, Belladonna, Calendula, Calcarea phos, Thuja etc in their practice. A couple of physicians have even picked up the art of Homoeopathy so much, that they are able to achieve commendable successes to their own as well as the patients’ satisfaction.

All these are healthy and heart-warming trends. But it is not a time to relax. This is a time and an opportunity to work with redoubled zeal and energy, for advancing the cause of Homoeopathy. Let us not forget that still a large majority of people opt for conventional medicine in cases where Homoeopathy could have solved their problems gently, rapidly and at a fraction of the cost incurred. So dear friends it is not the time to just sit and watch but to move forward, to share our experiences with all our fellow brethren for the betterment of homeopathy.

So we bring before you the August issue of Homeopathic Horizon on Homeopathy Today. The present issue shares with you the experience and knowledge of eminent homeopaths on different aspects of Homeopathy such as Degenerative Diseases, Leishmaniasis, Pediatric Case taking, Asthma etc.
