It gives me utmost pleasure to present before you the first issue of Homeopathic Horizon Ezine.

Homeopathic Horizon was a dream, a dream which most of us have seen. The dream to bring recognition to Homeopathy, to spread its message far and wide. In my student days, I went through the phase which I feel most of us must have underwent. The phase of self doubt, on our abilities, on our system of practice. We come across so many people who are practically illiterate in homeopathy and this amounts to our despair. Dr. Samuel Hahnemann had discovered Homeopathy 211yrs back but today also every homeopath has to fight his battle for recognition. Moreover we feel we lack the necessary knowledge in Homeopathy, we cannot stand together with other system of medicine.

Where exactly is the gulf.....it is not in our system of practice. It is in our understanding of it, in our ability to move together with the world. It is in our attitude of not sharing with the world what we have.

When I discovered it I thought of opening up a channel, a project for the homeopaths to spread homeopathy to wider horizons. It was a dream, now it is a project. The aim of this project is to unite every homeopath to share their knowledge and experience with others so that together we can walk forward.

The first issue of Homeopathic Horizon Ezine deals with the "History of Homeopathy". Without knowing our roots we cannot aim for the stars. So if one has to walk forwards he has to remember the ground on which he stands. History always tells us about the heritage, about the struggle which our ancestors underwent to give us this beautiful present. It reminds us of our responsibilities, we have to give a better tomorrow to our future generations. This can only be reached when we unite and walk together.

Homeopathy was discovered in the year 1796 by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, by rebelling against the then prevalent system. It is a story of his struggle, opposition of Homeopathy and the spread of this system. It is like the great epics one should know and remember for a better tomorrow.

So here we bring forth before you the first issue.
